Running Through Milan: How We Took Over the City with Flags and Fun

We started the day with breakfast and then dove into an energizer activity. In this activity, we were divided into pairs, each paired with someone from the opposite team. We formed circles and had to run while holding hands. When the leader said "stop," we rushed to our partner and crouched down together. It was a fun way to start the day, full of energy and excitement.

Afterward, we gathered to discuss the "slow life" movement, sharing our experiences of slowing down and how it affects our mood and well-being. This led to preparations for the flag parade, where we divided into teams to work on different tasks. One group worked on creating the flags for the Association and Europe, another worked on costumes and hats with a budget of €50, and a third team focused on planning the parade route.

After a break, we continued preparing the costumes and hats and gathering information about Erasmus+ projects to incorporate into the parade. ✨ Then, after lunch, the rest of the day was dedicated to the flag parade and exploring Milan. We took the tram around the city, visiting some of its famous landmarks. It was a fantastic experience despite the excitement and rush to take photos and see everything; the group stayed together and enjoyed the journey. Special credit to the organizer who kept everyone on track during this adventure!

The day wrapped up with dinner, and later we had a "Friendship Hour," where we took the opportunity to reflect on the day's events and bond with one another.
