After dinner, we kicked off the evening with a fun energizer led by two participants, the perfect boost of energy for the night!
Next, we had a participant-led session from a Cypriot team member working in the artificial leather industry. Hearing her firsthand insights on innovative and sustainable alternatives in the medical sector was incredibly inspiring.
Participants also got the chance to ask questions about current regulations and share ideas on adopting more eco-friendly practices
We then split into four creative groups to dive deeper into our project themes:
Group 1: Recorded a “Try Haul” video showcasing how influencer culture leads to overconsumption in fashion
Group 2: Created a Canva presentation summarizing our goals, partner countries, daily activities & outcomes
Group 3: Explored real-life sustainable fashion case studies — from Setali Indonesia to Textile Recycling Hubs and inspiring upcycling initiatives like Kurak Patchwork
Group 4: Recorded a podcast on Erasmus+, sustainable fashion, the environmental footprint of fast fashion, its effects on youth, and the hidden stories of garment workers
After working in teams, we gathered again to present our outcomes, exchange feedback, and enjoy a vibrant Q&A session.
Earlier in the evening, our facilitator also provided deep insights into the Erasmus+ program, including youth exchanges and training opportunities, helping participants better understand how to stay involved in the future!
Another productive and meaningful day full of teamwork, learning, and inspiration.
